This small group will be focused on the Soto Zen Sitting (Zazen), which is meditation with no objects, anchors, or content. Just sitting. The meditator strives to be aware of the stream of thoughts, allowing them to arise and pass away without interference. All adults are welcome, whether you have meditated before or not. Cushions and chairs will be provided.
The group will meditate for two 40 minute sessions with a ten minute walking meditation break in between with a short service and talk/discussion afterwards. Please arrive at 6:15 if you need meditation instruction.
