The Smiling Dandelion Sangha hosts an annual retreat in June. In 2016, the topic will be Liberating the Heart and Mind with teachers Cheri Maples and Steven Spiro. The emphasis will be on cultivating mindfulness and wisdom, not only in meditation, but extending it into our daily lives. Our retreats offer the opportunity for extended meditation, teaching and some discussion on topics important to spiritual life. They are suitable for both beginners and those more advanced in meditation.
In addition to the weekend retreat, there are one day retreats called Mindfulness Days offered three times a year. These are announced in the Fellowship newsletter and are open to anyone interested in mindfulness and meditation.
