JETPIG: A Fun Acronym with a Powerful Meaning
JETPIG is a mnemonic device to remember our Shared Unitarian Universalist Values. Our shared values hold Love at the center, and there are six more values that help us live love in the world: Justice, Equity, Transformation, Pluralism, Interdependence, and Generosity. The first letter of each of those six values makes the acronym JETPIG. Imagine a flying pig with a jetpack powered by Love. It’s a silly image, but it will help you remember our powerful shared values!
The Adventures of JETPIG
The Fellowship has three JETPIGs, each ready with their goggles, helmet and jetpack, to take off on an adventure with you in our wider community! Sign up below to take Luvvie, Libby, or Amor home for a week and show them around to your school, work, volunteerism, fun, or travels. Send christina@fvuuf.org your photos and description of your time together and we’ll share them below!

Rev. Christina Leone-Tracy wrote the lyrics to this song to help us, young and old, learn about our Shared UU Values. Rev. Steve Sieck wrote the music (Steve is our former music director and current minister of the First Unitarian Church of Des Moines, Iowa).
