Sunday, April 19, 12:30-4:30 pm – Community Art Event

Come join us to add fresh art to the Fellowship Hall this spring. Canvas, paint, and brushes will be provided. Feel free to bring other items to add to what is provided. Canvases are limited to 20, so please email Theresa Spoehr to reserve yours. Cmtheresa@gmail.com
Sunday, April 19 – Help Us Feed Our Community

Here is something that you can do to help others during these trying times. Essentials JAM will be in the entry lobby handing out E2F ( Empty to Full) pans on Sunday, April 19th after both services. Each pan includes a recipe and shopping list. All you need to do is combine the ingredients, put them in the pan, and freeze it unbaked. Then bring the pan(s) back to the Fellowship two weeks later on Sunday, May 3rd. The frozen pans will be taken to Pillars Adult and Family Shelter to be used for their evening meals. How easy is that for spreading love and kindness?

Sunday, April 19, 12:30 PM – Addiction Recovery Support Group, First Meeting!

Addiction can affect anyone — You are not alone!
We are starting a group for folks within our Fellowship community who are in recovery or would like to start the recovery process from any kind of addiction. This group is not counseling, nor is it a 12-step program. It will simply be a judgment-free space for collective support and education about addiction recovery.
Sunday, April 26, 1:00 pm – Beltane Celebration
Celebrate the pagan festival of Beltane with the Gathering Circle small group. There will be Maypole dancing and a potluck feast. 1:00 pm out back on the patio if the weather cooperates, in the Fellowship Hall if it’s raining. Please label the ingredients of your potluck dishes for allergies/gluten-free/vegan.
Contact Tuppence Van de Vaarst at tsvdvaarst@gmail.com with questions.
Wednesday, April 29, 6:00-8:00 pm – You Are Not Alone (2nd edition) Dinner & Event

Join members of the Care Team for a dinner and event to provide space for all the challenges in our lives: illness, grief, caregiving, stress, addiction, mental health challenges, political anxiety and strife, and more. There will be some centering time, a chance for sharing and listening, and some skill-building. Participants who attended our January event reported feeling significantly calmer, more hopeful, and more empowered at the end of the session. You are not alone!
Please email christina@fvuuf.org to RSVP so we can plan for the dinner, by Monday, April 27.
Saturday, May 2, 5:00 pm – Soup Saturday
Join us for a low-key evening of fun, friends, conversation, and a potluck dinner. Soup is welcome! But feel free to bring whatever other potluck food you wish to share (including vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free options), bread, sides, maybe dessert… and your appetite! Games to share are also welcome.
Please direct questions to Angie or Matt (angiebaby826@yahoo.com or matthew_demers@yahoo.com).
Sunday, May 17, 8:00 am-12:30 pm – Partner Churches Plant Sale
The Partner Churches committee will be selling native plants, perennials, ornamentals, houseplants, herbs, vegetable seedlings, and garden accessories in the Fellowship parking area on May 17th, from 8 AM to 12:30 PM. We hope you will be able to join us! Proceeds will benefit our partner churches in Deva, Romania and Banaybanay, Philippines.
We will need, and greatly appreciate, your donations of plants and related items, which can be dropped off at the Fellowship between 7:00 and 8:00 am on the day of the sale.
For more information, or to volunteer to help with the sale, please contact Vickie Milde at vicmilde@hotmail.com.
Sunday, August 2, 4:00 pm – Fellowship Picnic

Join your Fellowship friends for an afternoon at Smith Park in Menasha for food, games, and connection. We’ll provide hot dogs (meat & veggie), buns (regular and GF) and condiments. We’ll also have bubbles, chalk, and a bouncy house for the kids.
Bring a side dish or dessert to share, a lawn chair, a drink (non-alcoholic only, please) and a game if you want!
