Fellowship Inclement Weather Procedures

If Services are Cancelled…

If services are cancelled, we strive to decide by 7:00 am on Sunday morning. We will post a pop-up announcement to our website, www.fvuuf.org, as well as update our service times voicemail message at the Fellowship office (920-731-0849), and we will post to WBAY’s delays and closings announcements (wbay.com/weather).

**If you see or hear nothing new, then services are running as scheduled.**

In the Event of Inclement Weather

Wisconsin winter is upon us and it is never easy to predict when weather conditions will be severe enough to warrant closing the Fellowship or cancelling Sunday services.

Particularly when it comes to Sunday services, we never want to cancel unnecessarily, but neither do we want to put our staff and volunteers (musicians, worship leaders, ushers, coffee servers, etc.) in an unsafe situation. We consider temperatures, snow accumulation and the timing of whether roads and the parking lot can be plowed, road conditions, and more when making these decisions.

During the week, our office closures follow Appleton Area School District (AASD) guidelines whenever possible. If you’re uncertain, check www.aasd.k12.wi.us to check their status. If schools are delayed or closed, then our office will be, too. If you have a group or committee meeting on a day when there is inclement weather, check with the leader of the group to find out if your meeting is running as scheduled, is postponed or cancelled, or has moved to an online format.
