Journey Groups and Chalice Circles
Our Journey Groups and Chalice Circles meet monthly for 7 consecutive sessions, staying together for the whole season to create deep and meaningful relationships. The groups are led by a volunteer facilitator and follow the monthly themes associated with our Sunday services. They receive a packet of inspirational material each month to explore and discuss. Journey Groups follow a more structured discussion format, and Chalice Circles are a little less structured.
Both group formats offer a chance for deep, uninterrupted sharing, active listening, and opening our minds and hearts to others in our community.
Registration takes place in late August to early September and once the groups are formed, they are closed until the following year. Questions? Contact Rev. Christina at christina@fvuuf.org.

Small Groups
Small groups are one of the best ways to connect deeply with others at the Fellowship. To learn more about our small groups, click the button below.
We offer different types of groups:
- Community Groups – These small groups meet regularly (usually monthly) to connect over shared identity, interests or values. They might do an activity together, or simply enjoy each other’s company. In addition, these groups are asked to support the Fellowship in whatever way works best for them, as well as provide a service project to the Fellowship or to the wider community once per year.
- Spiritual Practice Groups – These small groups meet regularly (usually monthly) to deepen a particular spiritual practice. In addition, these groups are asked to support the Fellowship in whatever way works best for them, as well as provide a service project to the Fellowship or to the wider community once per year.
Upcoming Events & Offerings
October 4, 5:00 pm – SOUPER SATURDAY – The first Saturday of each month, 5:00-6:00 pm CT (October – May, except December). Bring soup, bread, sides or salads (or just your appetite!), or maybe a game to share to eat, play, and have wonderful conversation in a low-key environment. Questions? October 26, 12:15 pm – TELL ME MORE – An informal 90-minute conversation with a minister and a member of the Membership Team to learn more about our Fellowship and Unitarian Universalism.
